    Coronation Group highlights importance of private sector in funding infrastructure projects

    Coronation Group has launched its first Infrastructure Report, the result of an in-depth study into the key areas of infrastructure financing, highlighting the growing importance of private sector involvement in financing infrastructure projects around the world.

    The company says that while public resources are often constrained, private sector investment is emerging as a catalyst to bridge funding gaps and enable infrastructure projects that foster innovation, create jobs and stimulate economic activity.

    Coronation Asset Management Managing Director, Aigbobbioise Aig Imokhude, aptly captured the importance of the first Coronation Infrastructure Report, highlighting its role as a pivotal moment in fostering dialogue on infrastructure financing across Africa.

    The report recognizes the transformative power of private sector financing for infrastructure development and highlights the importance of fostering an environment conducive to private sector participation.

    Guy Czartoryski, Head of Research at Coronation, highlights the deep commitment built into the Infrastructure Report to provide comprehensive insight into the state of infrastructure investment.
