For 25 years, NOG Energy Week has brought together policymakers, investors, and industry leaders to turn energy plans into real projects. To mark its 25th anniversary, the 2026 edition will be held from July 5 to 9, 2026 at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Center, Abuja.
Themed “Driving energy ambitions towards competitive and resilient economies”, the event aims to move beyond discussion to focus on delivering practical and profitable energy projects across Africa.
Stronger policy promotion and regional projects

The plan sets clear goals to increase gas production, expand gas power projects, expand LPG supply and attract large-scale investment in industrial gas utilization. These goals are already impacting deals and creating new funding and supply opportunities.
Regional cooperation is also accelerating. The proposed Africa-Atlantic Gas Pipeline, also known as the Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline, is receiving new diplomatic support and technical research from governments and development partners.
These efforts are expected to improve cross-border energy trade and strengthen energy security. NOG Energy Week 2026 will explore these trends in detail, focusing on how to turn policy commitments into viable projects with secure financing and clear implementation plans.
Leadership and high-level participation
The event’s strategy conference will be guided by an Executive Committee (ExCo) comprised of top industry leaders and technology experts.
Members include the Faculty of Engineering. Bayo Bashir Ojulari of NNPC Ltd, Proscovia Nabbanja of Uganda National Petroleum Company, Jim Swartz of Chevron Nigeria, Dr. Ainojie ‘Alex’ Irune of Oando Energy Resources and Tony Attah of Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited.
