    Oluwatosin Olatujoy receives Excellence Award for his contribution to urban development

    The Group Chief Executive Officer of Zyrus Group, Mr. Oluwatosin Olatujoy, was awarded the Award of Excellence in Abuja for his leadership and influential contribution to housing and urban development.

    The award was presented by the Minister of Housing and Urban Development in partnership with Festus Adebayo, the pioneer of the African Housing Award, at a recent ceremony.

    According to the organizers, the award recognizes Mr. Olatujoy’s extraordinary leadership and impactful contributions to housing, urban development and real estate innovation across the African continent.

    The ceremony brought together stakeholders, policy makers, industry leaders and innovators in the built environment sector to celebrate groundbreaking achievements that will shape the future of housing in Africa.

    After receiving the prestigious award, Mr. Oluwatosin Olatjoye expressed his deep gratitude and shared his vision for sustainable community development.

    Mr Olatujoy said this recognition was not just for him, but for all the visionary partners and dedicated team members at Zyrus Group who believe that dignified homes and thriving communities are at the heart of Africa’s future.

    “We continue to champion affordable, high-quality housing solutions that improve lives and transform cities. This award strengthens our commitment to pushing boundaries and deepening our impact across the continent.”

    Mr Olatujoy used the opportunity to reaffirm Zyrus Group’s commitment to responsible real estate investment, community engagement and capacity building in the housing value chain.
    Speaking at the event, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Mr. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, praised the outstanding achievements of this year’s winners and spoke about the importance of the award:

    He said the Africa Housing Prize symbolizes the collective determination to advance effective housing policies, foster private sector partnerships and encourage investments that deliver real value to local communities.

    “We congratulate Mr. Olatudjoye and all the award recipients for embodying the spirit of innovation and core public good that drives economic growth and sustainable urban development,” Dangiwa said.

    The Africa Housing Awards 2025 reflected a strong demonstration of leadership, collaboration and forward-thinking solutions, highlighting Africa’s potential to set new standards for housing excellence on the world stage.
