Big 5 Construct Kenya will return for its 8th edition from 5th to 7th November 2025 at Sarit Expo Center in Nairobi, bringing together key players in Kenya’s construction value chain. The event builds on the unprecedented opportunity in the sector to demonstrate resilience amid global economic uncertainty, with the country’s GDP expected to grow by 4.5% in 2025 (Source: World Bank).

Kenya’s construction market is currently valued at $20 billion and is expected to grow by 7.5% annually due to continued expansion across housing, construction and infrastructure (Source: ABiQ and ResearchandMarkets). This momentum is supported by the country’s Vision 2030 construction industry development policy, a national goal to deliver one million housing units by 2027 (Source: National Housing Corporation).

These policy imperatives are rapidly increasing demand for construction and infrastructure inputs, skilled labor, project finance, and advanced building technologies. Major projects such as the Nairobi-Mombasa Usahihi Expressway and the Opower 22 geothermal power plant are also set to drive demand and investment in the sector, highlighting the value of Big 5 Construct Kenya to foster networks and explore opportunities.

dmg Josin Hymans, Senior Vice President at events, said: “Kenya’s construction sector is gaining real momentum, fueled by ambitious construction and infrastructure plans and national housing initiatives under Vision 2030. It is at the heart of growth, connecting decision-makers, innovators and suppliers and supporting the country’s construction sector. The exhibition will be a meeting place for industry leaders to discover practical solutions, explore new trends and drive projects that contribute to development.” Introducing the construction landscape in Kenya. ”

Domestic and international exhibitors introduce advanced solutions

This year’s Big 5 Construct Kenya will feature over 150 exhibiting brands from over 20 countries, showcasing an impressive lineup of the latest products, technologies, solutions, equipment and systems to meet the country’s evolving urban and construction needs. The exhibition brings together more than 9,000 industry professionals, including project managers, consultants, contractors, engineers, architects, and government decision makers.

The exhibitor lineup includes leading brands such as Jaquar, Cleopatra Group, Masa, Stanley Black and Decker, Framecad, Mapei and Mark Décor. An impressive international presence is strengthened through the participation of companies from India, Egypt, Germany, Italy, China and the United Arab Emirates, helping local buyers access innovation, partnerships and distribution channels.

This year, 12 dedicated product sectors will be featured across the exhibition floor, creating a comprehensive showcase for professionals across project lifecycle stages. These include building interiors and finishes, concrete and cement, construction tools and personal protective equipment (PPE), digital construction technologies and heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) systems.

Visitors can also explore solutions for heavy construction equipment and vehicles, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) components, and metal, steel, and aluminum products. The growing emphasis on speed and sustainability is reflected in the introduction of off-site and modular construction, intelligent building systems, solar photovoltaic technologies and services, windows, doors and facades, ensuring that Kenya’s Big 5 constructs are able to meet both traditional requirements and the latest advancements.

CPD certification sessions continue to gain momentum

In addition to a diverse range of exhibitors and networking opportunities, there will also be CPD-accredited Big 5 talks focused on learning and leadership. Led by over 45 regional and international experts, the talks program will feature over 25 free-to-attend sessions covering key topics such as project management, engineering, technology, architecture and sustainability.

Big 5 Construct Kenya is free to attend for all trade and industry professionals aged 18 and over. For more information, please visit www.big5constructkenya.com.
