    Bloomberg today announced new speakers and provided updates on the inaugural Africa Business Summit, the official sideline event of B20 South Africa 2025.

    The summit brings together more than 400 senior leaders from business, finance, government and technology to discuss Africa’s evolving role in the global economy. The conversation will focus on investment, trade, energy transition and innovation as the continent enters a pivotal period of growth and global integration.

    The Bloomberg Africa Business Summit program is built around the theme: “Unlocking Africa’s Investment Potential.” It begins with an opening session and networking reception featuring the launch of Bloomberg New Voices’ third South African unit on November 17th, followed by a full day of panel discussions, newsmaker interviews and breakout sessions on November 18th.

    Attendees will hear from ministers, CEOs, policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders through a series of interviews, panel discussions, and breakout sessions. Summit topics include:

    As part of the preparations for the summit, Bloomberg Businessweek has published an Investor’s Guide to Africa. This is a special report featuring a ‘risk-o-meter’ and country scorecard developed by Bloomberg Economics to help investors assess opportunities across six major industries in 19 African countries.
